In the birthplace of American Portland Cement, Northampton, Eastern Pennsylvania, this industrial style of home design that has concrete architecture were built. “The primary building materials, site poured concrete and various concrete products, pay respect to the history of Northampton”, explains Architect Joseph N. Biondo. Inspired by the use of cement, and machinery for their manufacture, this house is a lesson the horizontal style of the modern school-industry. Firmly planted in the steep, this house on a hill, a very important part of their environment, so that eventually the moss and vegetation around it. The focus of this design are large areas of outdoor entertainment that is open to the landscape and invite the outdoors in, just inside the sliding glass separated there.
